General Administration: Ramallah: The General Administration of the Latin Patriarchate Schools launched the "Creative Teacher" competition at the beginning of the academic year. This competition aims to support the creativity and excellence of teachers, encouraging and honoring them on both academic and educational levels. Through the adoption of modern and innovative learning methods and strategies, it aims to foster positive competition among teachers, which will ultimately reflect on the students and contribute to improving the quality of education in the Latin Patriarchate Schools. The goal is to create a proactive, thoughtful, and committed generation capable of self-learning, armed with the necessary skills, knowledge, and experiences for their academic and personal lives, a generation that interacts with the community and those around them.
Seven distinguished teachers, with outstanding creativity and distinctive imprint, have participated in this competition. The external committee faced difficulties in selecting the winners, and the results will be announced at the end of March 31 during a ceremony.
The competition is supervised by an internal committee composed of the following directors: Ms. Thaera Fuadela, Principal of the Latin Patriarchate School in Jifna, Mr. Anton Jraseh, Principal of the Latin Patriarchate School in Beit Sahour, Mr. Tamer Naserallah, Principal of the Latin Patriarchate School in Taybeh, Ms. Diana Basir, responsible for educational and academic projects in the schools, and Ms. Abeer Hanna, the Executive Director. The external committee is composed of Mr. Iyad Rafidi, Principal of the Episcopal Evangelical School, Dr. Asma Hamdan, a specialist in continuous education design at Birzeit University, and Dr. Iman Najjar, Director of Monitoring and Evaluation of Training Programs at the Ministry of Education, National Institute for Educational Training.
Won the title of "Creative Teacher" for:
Creating positive attitudes among students and implementing active learning strategies in a distinctive way, especially regarding scientific investigation.
Using environment-linked learning strategies and caring for students with special needs.
Creating positive attitudes among students towards learning the Arabic language and using various strategies and methods, notably role-playing.
