Beit Jala: Continuing the agreed-upon collaboration with the Public Relations Department of the Palestinian Police, and in execution of the established program, Officer Thaer Arar and his assistant Alaa Tameeza from the General Police Office in Bethlehem conducted the first lecture in the security culture for sixth-grade students at the school. The lecture took place in the school's library under the supervision of the educational supervision officer.

Officer Thaer presented a lecture on "How to Deal with Ground Mines," explaining their dangers and the proper way to handle foreign objects. He emphasized the presence of over a million and a half suspicious objects in Palestine and advised students against playing with them, urging them to communicate with authorities. The officer also provided a visual demonstration through a film depicting the real-life scenario of a Palestinian child facing landmines and their consequences.

This program is part of a comprehensive series in security culture agreed upon with the General Administration through the Public Relations Department at the Bethlehem Police Office. It aligns with the school's new policy in addressing the Palestinian security reality, especially for children and school students.

The program will continue until the end of the academic year 2013-2014, with plans for a new program and fresh perspectives in the coming year.
