Educational and Training Session for Kindergarten Teachers

On November 7, 2024, a Zoom session was held to support and enhance the skills of kindergarten teachers at the Latin Patriarchate Schools. This session was led by early childhood education specialist Vivian Tannous in collaboration with the Qattan Foundation.

The session focused on the challenges that kindergarten teacher’s face, especially given current circumstances, and offered practical strategies for overcoming these obstacles. One key topic

was the importance of project-based learning in kindergarten, which helps children learn through hands-on, interactive experiences.

Vivian Tannous emphasized the value of involving parents in the kindergarten program. She explained that when parents understand the curriculum and teaching methods, they can better support their children's learning. Collaboration between teachers and parents creates a rich learning environment, helping children benefit fully from their education.
