An-Najah National University recently hosted a delegation from St. Joseph School in Nablus to explore potential areas of collaboration and strengthen ties between the two esteemed institutions.
The delegation from St. Joseph School included Fr. Miguel, the Latin Parish Priest of Nablus; Ms. Dina Dweiny, Principal of the School; Ms. Sanaa Abu Zant, School Counselor; Mr. Moumen Hassan, Arabic Language Teacher; and Dr. Asaad Tuffal, a representative of the Parents’ Council.
Welcoming the delegation on behalf of the university were Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Khayyat, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Moen Shtaywi, Assistant Vice President for Scientific Faculties; Mr. Ahmed Sarghali, Advisor to the University President for Public Relations and Marketing Communications; and Mr. Mohammed Murshid, Coordinator of School Affairs.
Dr. Al-Khayyat extended a warm welcome, emphasizing the university's dedication to fostering partnerships with local educational institutions to enhance academic and professional development opportunities.
During the meeting, participants discussed An-Najah’s diverse academic programs and student activities, with a focus on creating pathways for shared expertise and training initiatives. The conversation also highlighted opportunities for collaboration in scientific research and cultural initiatives, as well as the organization of orientation visits to the university for school students.
Ms. Dina Dweiny expressed her appreciation for the university's impressive academic achievements, both locally and internationally. She reiterated St. Joseph School’s commitment to cultivating a productive partnership with the university, aimed at enriching the educational experience for students and teachers alike.
