Beit Jala: Group of Teachers and Students from High School in Adria, Italy visited the Latin Patriarchate schools

Beit Jala: A delegation of teachers and students from the high school in Adria, Italy (Liceo Scientifico Statale "R. Nuzzi") visited the Latin Patriarchate School in Beit Jala. The group, consisting of 54 individuals, was led by Professor Dr. Paolo Farina. The purpose of the visit was cultural exchange, aiming to establish a twinning relationship between the two schools to deepen knowledge and cultural understanding between the two countries.

The delegation was warmly received by Father Dr. Faisal Hijazin, Father Ibrahim Al-Shomali, the parish priest and school director, and Mr. Suhail Daibs, the acting director. The delegation received an explanation from the general director about the role and importance of the Latin Patriarchate Schools in educating generations and building a culture of peace and respect for others.

It was emphasized that our schools are open to all segments of society and teach acceptance of others, regardless of religious or ethnic differences. Father Ibrahim Al-Shomali spoke about the role of defending the land through a policy of peaceful and nonviolent demonstration.

Mr. Suhail Daibs welcomed and thanked them for their visit. The seventh-grade students enthusiastically welcomed the Italian delegation, presenting national songs, and engaging in sports activities during the physical education class. The visit concluded with Mr. Paolo Farina expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, and commemorative photos were taken in the parish church.
