Beit Jala: Within the events of the swimming championship (Christmas Championship) in Bethlehem Governorate, student Lourdes Atwan from the Latin Patriarchate School in Beit Jala
participated through the Diyar Swimming Club. She secured the first place in freestyle swimming, the second place in backstroke, and the second place in breaststroke.
It's worth mentioning that this championship, held under the supervision of the Palestinian Federation of Aquatic Sports, took place at the YMCA Christian Youth Association in Beit Sahur, Bethlehem on Friday, February 7, 2014. Participating teams included Hilal Al-Quds, Beit Fly, Zulum, Diyar, Try Fitness, Ramallah Seraya, Green Valley Pool, Sur Baher, Academy of Sum4Life, Jabal Mukaber, Dallas Bethlehem, and Dallas Jerusalem.
