As part of the strategic plan of the Latin Patriarchate Schools—which aims to enhance students’ skills through project-based learning—the fourth student-led initiative was launched at Latin School – Aboud under the theme: Essence of Life: A Drop, Health, A Bite. The project was designed to promote health and nutritional awareness among students and the broader school community, highlighting the vital connection between individual well-being and national prosperity.
The event was inaugurated by Father Raymond Haddad and the school principal, Mrs. Niveen Massad, with the honorable presence of the Sisters, representatives from the General Administration of the Latin Patriarchate Schools, parents, teaching staff, and notable local figures. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Nadi Al-Haj, Head of the Water Department at Bani Zeid Municipality; Mr. Anas Al-Rimawi, an expert in meteorology; and pharmacist Rima, who delivered valuable guidance on the proper use of vitamins and the role of nutrition in disease prevention.
The fair featured a variety of student-led activities including presentations, interactive workshops, educational models, and awareness lectures focused on healthy eating habits and the essential role of water in daily life.
Principal Massad emphasized that the success of the fair reflects a strong spirit of cooperation and deep belief in the school’s mission which is promoting education and awareness within the community.
