Ramallah – Al-Ahliyyah College School earned remarkable recognition at the closing ceremony of the 2024–2025 Environmental Awareness Projects organized by Ramallah Municipality. The school was honored as one of the institutions that surpassed the sustainability benchmark, achieving over 80% of the criteria set by the “Healthy and Eco-Friendly Schools” program.
The school stood out particularly in the area of water conservation, receiving the Excellence Shield alongside three other schools for implementing a series of innovative and high-impact activities that raised environmental awareness among students and promoted sustainable practices within the school environment.
Additionally, Al-Ahliya College School secured third place in the second edition of the “Environmental Guardians” initiative, a collaborative effort between the Ramallah Municipality and the German-French Cultural Institute, with the participation of ten schools from across the city.
These achievements reflect Al-Ahliya College School’s ongoing commitment to fostering environmental consciousness among its students and embedding sustainability principles in education and community life.
