The General Administration of the Latin Patriarchate Schools organized a training for inclusive education teachers from Latin schools of Zababdeh, Beit Jala, Beit Sahour, Taybeh, and Birzeit, in cooperation with QADER Foundation.
During the training, participants were introduced to the concept of inclusive education as a mandatory approach in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s policies. The session also addressed both the social and medical models for dealing with students with diverse needs.
The workshop further discussed ways to identify students’ strengths and weaknesses, as well as applying appropriate educational accommodations and modifications tailored to each case, with practical examples on how to implement them in classrooms.
This workshop comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the Latin Patriarchate Schools – Palestine to promote an inclusive learning environment that respects individual differences and ensures equal opportunities for all students to learn and grow.
The training sessions will continue, so stay tuned for our second meeting in the Inclusive Education Training Series on the 25th of this month.
