Ain Arik: Workshop on Violence Against Children

Latin Patriarchate School-Ain Arik

Ain Arik: Like many other societies, Palestinian society is not immune to violence. This community, characterized by relatively low levels of violence, recognizes the importance of addressing and handling violence through the educational process to shape the students' characters. In alignment with the Palestinian national education curriculum and as a complement to the educational process, the Latin Patriarchate School in Ain Arik, in collaboration with the Sawa Foundation for Child Protection, organized and conducted a workshop for sixth-grade students on violence. The workshop was supervised and coordinated by the school's director, Mr. Ibrahim Bishara, and teacher Maha Rahimi on Saturday, April 22, 2014. The lively session involved discussions and students raising various questions, all of which were thoroughly addressed.
