The General Administration of the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Ramallah welcomed the Lieutenant of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre in Austria, accompanied by his delegation and the newly CEO, Mr. Johnny Zeidan.
The delegation were welcomed by the General Director of the Latin Patriarchate Schools,Fr. Dr. Yacoub Rafidi. During the meeting, Fr. Rafidi provided an overview of the current situation of the Latin Patriarchate Schools, highlighting the challenges and difficulties they continue to face amid the complex and rapidly changing circumstances in the region.
The delegation was also briefed on the efforts undertaken by the General Administration and the schools’ educational teams to ensure the continuity of education and uphold the mission of the Latin Patriarchate Schools in serving students and their communities. Despite the increasingly challenging circumstances, the schools remain steadfast in their commitment to provide quality of education, safeguarding students’ right to learn, and ensuring the continuity of the educational process.
As part of the visit, the Lieutenant and his delegation visited Al-Ahliyyah College school in Ramallah, where they toured the school and its facilities and met with members of the administrative team. The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain a closer insight into the school’s current situation, its needs, and the challenges it faces in light of the prevailing circumstances.
The visit reflects the continued interest in and support for the educational and humanitarian mission of the Latin Patriarchate Schools. It also reaffirms the importance of strengthening partnerships and cooperation in support of education and in service of students and the local community.
