Al-Ahliyyah College school celebrated the wining of raising the eco-friendly flag for the academic year 2021-2022. This achievement is supported by the Bank of Palestine for the thirteenth consecutive year.
The event, graced by Ramallah Mayor Issa Qassis and members of the Health and Environment Committee, including Salah Haniyyah, Lubna Youssef Farhat, and Khaldoun Abu Al-Hums , Haniya Nazzal (Ramallah and Al-Bireh Education Directorate Deputy ), Malvena Al-Jamal (Health and Environment Department Director), Dima Mghnam Kaaibni (Al-Ahliyyah College School Principal), Mervat Arouri (Bank of Palestine's Middle Branch Director), Rana Habbayeb (Environment Department Head).
The Mayor .Qassis expressed deep appreciation for the successful initiative, emphasizing the collaborative partnerships between Ramallah Municipality, Education Directorate and the Bank of Palestine, and schools in Ramallah.
Mrs. Arouri, the Bank of Palestine's Middle Branch Director, congratulated the city for keeping Ramallah clean and commended Al-Ahliyyah College for winning this year competition.
The ceremony featured musical performances by students from the winning schools. This event celebrates Al-Ahliyyah College's achievements and also shows the commitment to the environmental sustainability within the community.
