Birzeit: The Latin Patriarchate School - Birzeit celebrated Ash Wednesday with a morning mass. Father Louis Hazboun, the parish priest, presided over the mass, attended students, as well as members of the administrative and teaching staff. Father Hazboun emphasized on the importance of fasting for Christian believers, rooted in charity, prayer . He encouraged individuals to consider their fellow human beings and extend assistance to those in need.
In his sermon, Father Louis, along with the present priests, imposed ashes on the attendees, reminding them that humans are made of dust and shall return to dust.
