On Thursday, August 8, 2024, Canadian Ambassador, Mr. David Da Silva, visited the General Administration Office of the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Ramallah. He was warmly welcomed by General Director Father Yacoub Refidi, Executive Director Ms. Abir Hanna, and Academic Affairs Officer Ms. Diana Basir.
During the visit, the Ambassador was briefed on the significant role and historical impact of the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Palestine since their establishment in 1856. The discussion also covered current programs, ongoing activities, and future projects of the schools.
Additionally, the Ambassador was informed about the major challenges faced by the Latin Patriarchate Schools and other local schools amidst the difficult conditions experienced by the Palestinian people.
