Nablus: On Monday, January 20, 2014, the Latin Patriarchate School – St. Joseph school - in Nablus collaborated with the Palestinian Civil Defense, Nablus branch, to conduct a comprehensive training and awareness day on evacuation procedures during natural disasters such as earthquakes and fires.
The Civil Defense team guided the students on the correct evacuation procedures in the event of a disaster, emphasizing swift and efficient actions. The team developed a civil defense plan outlining the appropriate measures, and the students were trained to execute these procedures promptly. The Civil Defense team commended the students for completing the evacuation in a remarkably short time, approximately 1 minute and 35 seconds during the peak period. This demonstrated the effectiveness of the evacuation process in ensuring the safety of all individuals without any casualties.
Mrs. Abeer Hanna praised the Civil Defense team for their crucial role in maintaining public safety and expressed gratitude for their efforts.
