Environmental Awareness Development Project at the Latin Patriarchate School in Nablus

Nablus: Demonstrating a model for the development of environmental awareness among students in Palestinian schools through the adoption of the Green Schools model for the academic year 2013/2014, the Latin Patriarchate School – St. Joseph School - in Nablus organized an activity highlighting the significance of this project for the school's students.

This initiative was carried out in collaboration with key supporters and contributors to the project, including the Palestinian Ministry of Education, The Get Small Grants Program (SGP), Integrated Development Foundation, United Nations Development Programs (UNDP), and the Global Environment Facility (GEF).

The event aimed to educate the students about the concept of Green Schools, emphasizing its importance. The school administration, along with the supporting organizations, explained the crucial environmental aspects relevant to the students' daily lives and the school environment. The project seeks to instill a sense of environmental responsibility and sustainability among students, promoting a greener and more eco-conscious school community.
