Ain Arik: Soap making is considered a traditional national industry in Palestine, particularly the production of olive oil soap. In this regard, teacher May Shaheen, along with fifth-grade students at the Latin Patriarchate School in Ain Arik, conducted a soap-making workshop on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Ms. Daoud provided detailed explanations on soap manufacturing stages, answering students' questions about the importance of soap making and its marketing in the Palestinian and international markets.
